Katya Valasek

Katya is director of prelaw advising at the Law School Admission Council. She joined LSAC in November 2020 after almost a decade in law school admissions at Seton Hall Law. Before joining Seton Hall, she worked as a legal recruiter in New York and New Jersey. Valasek holds a bachelor’s degree from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey, and earned her law degree from Michigan State University College of Law in East Lansing, MI. She is licensed in New Jersey, although was once licensed in Michigan too.
