Total Federal Investment in Law Schools by 2022 Job Outcomes
Graduation year: 2022
Total Federal Investment is the amount cumulatively borrowed by law school graduates from a law school. These figures are generated using school-specific borrowing data from U.S. News & World Report, which relies on data reported to U.S. News by law schools, as well as graduate data from the American Bar Association. Job outcomes data also come from the American Bar Association. The job outcome groups are based on the legal job rate. The rate's denominator is total graduates and its numerator includes only jobs that are long term (a job with an indefinite duration or fixed duration of 1 year or more), full time (at least 35 hours per week), and bar passage required (job requires a law license).
